Cook Insurance was founded in 1977 by Ron Cook right here in Apache Junction. Today, owner Steven Wade leads the agency with a team carrying decades of hands-on Arizona insurance experience across every line they write.
We are not tied to any single insurance company. When you call us, we compare multiple top-rated carriers on your behalf – and we keep doing that at every renewal. No single-company bias. No hidden incentives. Just honest advice from people who have been doing this since before most of our clients were born.

Cook Insurance is an independent agency, which means we are not employed by any insurance company and we have no obligation to sell any particular product. Our only obligation is to our clients. When you call us, we go to market on your behalf, compare real options across multiple A-Rated carriers, and recommend what actually fits – not what generates the highest commission or meets a quarterly target. That is what independence means in practice, and it is how we have operated since the day Ron Cook opened this agency on Apache Trail in 1977.
